SECONDARY EDUCATION IN GHANA
Secondary Education in Ghana is made up of two sections. The first three years forms the Junior
Secondary School (JSS) and the second three years forms Senior Secondary School (SSS). The first three
years of secondary education (JSS) forms part of the Free Compulsory Education (FCUBE).
The Ghana Education Trust Fund provides funds towards improving the Secondary education sector
in Ghana. The contributions are used to provide textbooks and other resources .Funds are also provided
towards improving existing infrastructure, and the the construction of new buildings as well.
